New Film Event at New Park Cinema Saturday 10th September at 10:30am

This free event is in two parts.  Part one will be a film show summarising the many activities celebrating Murray 200th Anniversary.

Part two will be the Murray question time chaired by John Coldstream

April 28th 7pm WSRO. Talk by Richard Plowman and Exhibition The exhibition and conservation of letters is planned to coincide with the talk

June13th and 30th. Murray trail tours by Peter Froggatt as part of the Festival of Chichester

July 6,7 and 8th of July 11am to 4pm “Murray Or None”

      Exhibition and lunchtime talk in the Old Court Room at the Council House with a series of lunchtime talks from 12:30 to 1:30

July 15th /16th Visit and reception for the Murray Family.

          Ian Murray and his family who are located all over the world are planning to visit Chichester and stop at the Ship Hotel. A visit with David Shannon has offered to be the personal guide around   HMS Victory at 2pm  15th July. The Murray club will host a dinner at the Ship hotel that evening. Meeting the Mayor and a sightseeing tour of the Council House is now planned for 16th July.

August 2nd Mock Battle of Trafalgar at the Canal Basin.

          Portsmouth Model Boat Display Team will enact the battle of Trafalgar with 11 sailing ships with firing cannons

Feb 28th Evensong Service in the Cathedral  possible procession from the Sailors Chapel 

Talking heads Play for school assemblies. A short 6 minute play featuring the Town Crier
